Parjai ra Kyr’am

December 17, 2023

The following press release has been distributed among Mandalorian warriors across the galaxy, as well as copies being sent to major media outlets.

Within the past few hours, Mandalorian warriors from across the galaxy have commenced operations against Death Watch forces and their Zann allies in the geographically key systems of Derra and Serroco, both gateway systems that are no strangers to conflict. I am pleased to report that in the opening salvoes, a number of Death Watch ships, most bearing the stolen Mythosaur insignia brazenly on their hulls, have been destroyed, their pilots offering ineffectual resistance as Mandalorians and their allies have begun to wreak vengeance for over a decade of attacks on our people, our beliefs, our very way of life. Our warriors have already earned numerous battle honors. Ver’alor Andre Archer, a decorated officer, disabled a Death Watch corvette before personally leading a boarding action, during which he reclaimed a stockpile of bacta believed to have been stolen from a world previously ravaged by the Death Watch’s presence.

It is with these opening attacks that I today announce the launch of a Great Crusade against Death Watch and their Zann masters. I call upon all True Mandalorians to join me in this Crusade, to rid the galaxy once and for all of this cabal of terrorists, who have used our culture and customs as concealment for their barbarity. Worlds have been savaged in the name of the Mandalorians, civilizations decimated by criminals flying stolen banners, wearing stolen armor, and speaking a stolen language. For years, Death Watch has advocated for a return to a dark time in Mandalorian history, where our people were guided not by honor, not by duty, but by madness and bloodlust. The history of the Death Watch is one of butchery, of savagery, and of cruelty. None of these qualities represent Mandalorians as we are today. Mandalorians embody honor. We believe in duty, to oneself and those around you. We believe in the strong ties that bind our clans together, and a way of life that embraces those beliefs.

No longer will we stand by as our very civilization is degraded, mocked, and warped by terrorists.

These military actions against Death Watch are part of a campaign against terrorism, a campaign that has been waged for some months now. Given the nature of our enemies, this will not be a swift conflict. It will require the gradual accumulation of successes, by meeting a series of challenges with determination, will, and purpose. Today we focus on Derra and Serroco, but the battle is not only fought in those systems. Every Mandalorian has a choice to make. In this crusade, there is no neutral ground, and those who provide aid to our enemies are no better than the terrorists they support.

I call upon all Mandalorians, regardless of their political beliefs, who they call Mand’alor, or where they call home, to stand with me, shoulder to shoulder, in this Crusade against those who dishonor our culture, our language, our very way of life. There can be no peace while Death Watch is permitted to spread their poison across the galaxy in the name of Mandalorians, and this Crusade will only be complete when the last of their number has been eliminated, their war banners torn down, their stolen armor reclaimed, and their safe havens utterly annihilated.

The battle has, as of now, been joined on many fronts. We will not waver, we will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail. The True Mandalorians will prevail.

Vor entye.
