About Highhall -

Highhall is a city located on the planet of Ord Cantrell, situated on the western coast. Its early beginnings were nothing more than a humble smuggler’s cove, where traders looking to skirt the old regime’s tariffs would sell their wares at the developing black market located just across the sea from Tortuga. However, once the new government took control and its policies of trade were enacted, the need for a smuggler’s cove evaporated. This left a vacuum of use which was serendipitously replaced by bounty hunters and mercenaries traveling into the Outer Rim.

As the city’s reputation as a hub for mercenaries and bounty hunters grew, it attracted more visitors and residents. Eventually, a Mandalorian presence became established in the city. Through negotiations with the planet’s government, they became caretakers for the city, which they dubbed Highhall. The Mandalorians provided security within the city and for the trade routes south of it that crossed No Man’s Land.

Today, Highhall is a thriving city that caters to the needs of mercenaries, bounty hunters, and other visitors to the Outer Rim. It is considered safe for all visitors, assuming one doesn’t disturb the peace. The city contains numerous Mandalorian Enclaves, both in use and abandoned, as various clans have come and gone.

The city is characterized by its rugged and utilitarian architecture, reflecting the city’s origins as a haven for smugglers and bounty hunters. The city’s streets are narrow and winding, reflecting the city’s history as a maze-like hideout for those who needed to stay hidden.

Highhall is home to a range of businesses that cater to the needs of visitors, including weapon shops, armorers, and outfitters. The city is also known for its numerous cantinas and bars, which offer a range of beverages and entertainment options for visitors. The city’s central marketplace is a bustling hub of activity, where visitors can find everything from exotic goods to rare tech.

Overall, Highhall is a city that embodies the spirit of the Outer Rim, where rugged individuals come to pursue their own interests and find their fortunes. Despite its rough-and-tumble reputation, the city is a welcoming place for those who can handle its challenges and thrive in its unique environment.
