The tri-vid opens up with a shot of a Wookiee standing behind a podium in a press room of the famous Centrepoint Space Station in the Corellian system. He begins speaking, with subtitles in Galactic Basic translated perfectly on screen.
“As many have been aware of, the holosite for Centrepoint Marketplace has been adversely affected by errant code and is no longer functional with no clear timeframe of when it will be running again.”
As this wasn’t exactly new information, he continues, “Prior to the holosite’s demise, we had been working with Unnamed Market in order to provide a new, stable platform for free trade in the galaxy. Unfortunately, the code was lost before historical sales and trading records could be ported over to the new Holosite.”
There is a pause as a murmur of dissatisfied voices fills the room. “As it stands, the new Unnamed Market Holosite is functional and Centrepoint Space Station still intends to work jointly with them to ensure that it remains a location for the sapient races of the galaxy to conduct trade regardless of political affiliations.
“In the near-term, Centrepoint Space Station itself will act as a Middle for any trades, if one is so desired, to ensure people do not fall prey to dishonest merchants. If anyone had earned the title of Middle for any other trading system, please contact myself or Lucifer Von Kaldreon and, once verified, you can get the same status for Unnamed Market.
