(CIS News – Alderaan) Details have begun to emerge that the Tenloss Syndicate have signed an agreement becoming the latest regional power to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) after extensive discussions were had between the leadership teams of Tenloss and the Confederacy.
The decision to align with the Confederacy coincides with recent CIS expansions, with the Morobe, Chagri and Teljkon systems all embracing protectorate status. These systems governed respectively by One Nation Under Jou, Dorinian Military Corps and Slice of the Hutt’s Emporium as well as Eclipse Enterprises have flourished within the Separatist Alliance, creating a melting pot of different cultures all working towards the same goal.
In the wake of the Tenloss Syndicate’s alignment with the Confederacy, systems bordering Tenloss’ core territories, strategically located near the galactic core, have opted to follow suit, citing improved economic prospects, fortified defenses, and enhanced diplomatic support as compelling reasons for their allegiance to both Tenloss and the Confederacy.
However, Mon Calamari and Ryloth, homeworlds of their respective races Mon Calamari, Quarren, and Twi’lek, have opted to sever ties with the Tenloss Syndicate. Ryloth in particular had been a vital battleground during the Clone Wars when Republic forces arrived to “liberate” it from the Confederacy, as such, lingering feelings of discontent amongst the local leaders returning to Separatist oversight resulted in a decision to leave Tenloss’ long standing governance and seek protection elsewhere. Alderaan, however, opted to become an established world within the Confederacy, becoming an important political voice within the Separatist Movement.
On the opposite side of the galaxy, in a stunning display of strategic acumen and negotiating skills, the Tenloss Syndicate has successfully taken over the Inner Cluster, consolidating its power and expanding its influence. The Syndicate, already the ruling government in the Cona system, has extended its control to include Prindaar and Pyrshak, thanks to the pivotal alliance with the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS). The Arconan heritage and the remnants of the Bounty Hunter Alliance’s legacy add a rich historical backdrop to this strategic acquisition. The successful negotiations facilitated by the CIS were instrumental in securing this expansion, demonstrating the Syndicate’s adeptness at leveraging alliances and diplomatic expertise. With this tremendous feat, the Tenloss Syndicate now commands the entire sector, significantly bolstering its holdings and fortifying its position in the region.
When asked for comments on the ‘Alderaan Accords’ one government official went on record stating “It’s as if millions of voices have cried out in joy!”.
Separatist officials have also been keen to expand their influence throughout the core and open up offers to other neighboring systems the opportunity to join the Confederacy. Arkania is one such system which has left the Mandalorian clans and instead sought to better their prospects within the CIS.
For now, the territory of the CIS stretches along the spine of the galaxy, with Imperials on one side and Rebel forces on the other. With strong hyperlanes connecting the core Separatist territories, it is believed new hyperlanes will be charted to incorporate the Tenloss worlds.
