Crimson Dawn, a “Religious Conglomerate”, confirms that simultaneous explosions occurred at their Research and Trade Stations in the Coth Fuuras System earlier yesterday. Fortunately, all 50 construction workers who were on-site at the time were at a safe distance, and there have been no reported casualties.
Preliminary findings indicate that the explosions resulted in the two under construction stations colliding with each other post explosion/s, causing significant damage to the structures. Authorities and Crimson Dawn’s dedicated response teams are diligently investigating the incident to determine the cause and identify responsible parties.
The Construction efforts had only just began, with construction crews all off shift at the nearby Space Colony station in the system having lunch. Recorded evidence from the Space Colony shows 2 explosions, one on each station, causing serious doubt that the explosions were accidental.
Initial assessments have revealed traces of nova, an explosive material, in the wreckage of the stations, pointing to signs of possible sabotage. While no conclusive evidence has been found, suspicions have arisen that the Blue Star Cartel may be involved in this incident. However, it is important to note that these suspicions are yet to be confirmed, and a thorough investigation is underway to establish the facts surrounding the explosion.
People on Glom Tho, when asked their opinion on who could have done this blame the Kalarbans,Kalarba being a neighboring system in the Hevvrol sector, where the people of Glom Tho 1 and 2 have a reportedly intense rivalry with the citizens of Kalarba. Actual likelihood of involvement by either party is unknown to this news outlet, however the facts line up to almost guarantee that “someone” committed an act of sabotage at the site..
The stations were to be what Crimson Dawn describes as a travel plaza, a destination point for travelers to stop and access the market, share hyperlane data, and even shop at vendors. Crimson Dawn is installing these travel Plazas at popular waypoints such as the Zuni Cluster and Lantillies systems, saying that helping the traveler and furthering commerce are things they are called upon to do for The Many Gods, the religion of Crimson Dawn.
At this time, the focus remains on assessing the full extent of the damage caused by the explosion and ensuring the security of the area. Crimson Dawn expresses its deepest concern for any inconvenience caused to the galactic community and reaffirms its commitment to resolving the situation with the utmost urgency and transparency. Crimson Dawn leader Xanxus Drol could not be immediately reached for comment however the group has admitted security was non existent at the construction site and has promised to secure its sites in the future.
Coth Fuuras authorities are pulling station build permits, stating that the area is unsafe for outsiders to build safely at this time. This also means reconstruction efforts for Crimson Dawn in the system will be delayed indefinitely.
