From the Jaws of Victory
There are moments in this galaxy when illusion collapses under the weight of truth, when the propaganda of a leader can no longer withstand the bitter reality of their failures. This is one of those moments.
Bork the Blunderer proclaimed victory in the Khuiumin system, yet has led his people to decisive military defeat at the hands of Rebel and Hydian forces. In doing so, he has brought to light his own “Shadow Alliance” in an arrogant attempt to save face. Elements of the Unnamed Imperium, Bounty Hunters Guild, and Tusk Brothers, who have provided military, intelligence, or material support to the Shadow Dominion have been outed and exposed. For too long these groups have operated in the grey, and now the cloak of independence has been stripped away, and their support for the Dominion has been revealed for all to see.
The “Great Tactician” now finds himself under siege, trapped on the surface of Courkrus by Rebel, Hydian, Imperial, and Neutral forces. He claims loyalty to Ettyrimin Batiiv, yet as the walls close in around him, Bork the Betrayer seeks to sell the holdings of his Hordes – the half built cities of Khuiumin – in order to secure his own safe passage offworld. His encryptions have been broken, and the fickle nature of his loyalties have been uncovered.
The self-declared Great Khagan does not fight for his people as they fight for him; Instead he trades their loyalty for leverage, and sacrifices his followers for time. Look no further than Saiko Nagazi – a Dominion spy apprehended by Coalition forces whilst attempting to breach the blockade in a false-flag rescue attempt. Nagazi is not alone: two additional spies have been identified and will suffer a similar fate. This is your future under Bork Shalas: Used. Discarded. Forgotten. As Shalas continues to burn his assets in a desperate attempt at self-preservation, the blockade of Courkrus remains absolute.
The Daimyo of Disaster’s true nature has been laid bare. Not a master strategist, but a fraud sustained by hollow victories and empty promises. A man who would abandon his own people, simply to save himself.
To the warriors of the Shadow Dominion, we ask: What are you willing to sacrifice for this man?
