News Anchor: <\/b>\u201cAnd finally tonight, we bring you the promise of prosperity through education.\u00a0 The Smugglers Guild have announced that all leadership members have concluded various educational courses for whatever the people of Nar Shaddaa need.\u00a0 See for yourself\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Holo cuts to Mazer holding a few diplomas.\u00a0 He is replying to a question and seems very proud. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Mazer:<\/b> \u201cYes, I got certified in Holo-Journalism, Business Administration, and Manufacturing Protocols.\u00a0 All of us got a bunch of certs and licenses.\u201d Mazer holds up his framed diplomas for the holocorder.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Street Reporter:<\/b> \u201cWhat led to the leadership taking all these classes?\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mazer:<\/b> \u201cWe\u2019ve been pooling our money from all the bounty jobs the Smugs have been doing.\u00a0 When talking about how to spend it we decided, \u2018Let\u2019s take some classes together.\u2019\u00a0 Basically, if everyone takes a few classes, maybe we\u2019ll be great at everything.\u00a0 You know, as a team.\u00a0 I think we are now set up to do just about anything.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Street Reporter:<\/b> \u201cWhat skills did your team learn?\u00a0 What does this mean for the citizens of Nar Shaddaa?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mazer:<\/b> \u201cLet\u2019s see\u2026 DiGriz is now certified in Librarian\/Dosent Sciences, got his Mining License and is a galactically approved Datacard Transcriber.\u00a0 Reith, well, he decided to check out Diplomatic Relations, set himself up to be a Medical Practitioner, and is a card-carrying Blaster Repairman.\u00a0 Jaxon was all about being a Bounty Hunting Paralegal, Galactic Trade Manager, and just finished up a civil service program to be a legitimate Planetary Mayor.\u00a0 Nah got his Space GED and then earned his associates to be a Bendu Monk- see him at a Jedi Temple near you!\u00a0 The Smugs are so pleased to know their leadership is probably the most capable bunch of folks in the whole galaxy.\u00a0 And the people of Nar Shaddaa have just been over the moon.\u00a0 They are very excited to hear of all the opportunities coming their way.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Street Reporter:<\/b> \u201cWhere did you all take these classes?\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(Mazer hitches a thumb over his shoulder to Guild HQ behind him.)<\/i>\u00a0 Charmath University has a great correspondence course program.\u00a0 You pay the tuition and shipping, and they send you the holodisks of the courses you want.\u00a0 Cancel anytime.\u00a0 They even ship the diplomas in the same box.\u00a0 See?\u00a0 We\u2019re already saving money.\u00a0 Plus, those Charmath U holo-mercials are hard to ignore.\u00a0 (singing)<\/i> BE<\/b> the person you wanna BEEE<\/b> in the GalaxEEE<\/b>!\u00a0(laughs<\/i>)\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Street Reporter:<\/b> \u201cIt all seems promising. What\u2019s next?\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mazer: <\/b>\u201cWell, we make it so that anyone who wants something gets it from us.\u00a0 So then they do.\u00a0 I mean, it\u2019s kinda like we have a license to print credits.\u00a0 Actually, the CU: Government 101 pamphlet I read specified that I could print credits\u2026 We might be able to skip a couple steps.\u00a0 Ooo, hey; I gotta get to a graduation party!\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
